Gail Pineda

Drawing on her 25 years of film, television, and engineering experience, Gail Pineda’s has a vast knowledge on a variety of hardware/software products and equipment. She has become an expert specializing in production and post-production workflows.

 

Prior to her current Design Engineer position with PAC Engineering, Gail was part of the Engineering and IT departments at XETV – Fox6 in San Diego, maintaining the station’s FCP and Avid systems, GVG Profiles, Digital Delivery systems, Pinnacle Deko, Lightning, and Thunder systems; on the IT side, she handled everything from desktop maintenance to administering the station’s network system.

 

Gail also has held multiple certifications from Apple, Adobe and Avid. She has worked in several different news markets at KSEE 24 (NBC) in Fresno, KESQ TV3 (ABC) and KDFX TV11 (FOX) in Palm Springs in a variety of production roles from master control operator to commercial editor.

 

Gail has also awarded TELLY and ADDY awards for her editing of both television programming and commercials. Gail holds a BA in Radio, Television and Film.

Craig Claytor

Craig’s technical expertise has earned him a succession of titles vital to television broadcast, including that of Maintenance Engineer, Assistant Chief Engineer, and Chief Engineer. He has been responsible for the design, installation, and maintenance of studio facilities, VHF and UHF transmitters, terrestrial microwave systems and satellite and ENG trucks.

 

Craig draws on over a thirty year history in broadcast, production, and satellite systems engineering. His resume reveals a deep understanding of studio cameras, computer systems, automation systems, control rooms, post-production facilities and news operations. 

 

Craig has designed, integrated, and installed satellite and mobile production trucks for news gathering, emergency communications and flyaway applications for clients including ENG Mobile Systems, AT&T, Loral Skynet, Grupo Televisa, Wenzlau Engineering and Spectrum Communications.  These innovative mobile uplink/production vehicles were shown at the National Broadcasters Convention (NAB) for several years running.
